When I was young, my brother and I were playing in our attic, trying to while away a rainy afternoon when I discovered an old super 8 movie camera. I was completely enchanted with the camera and soon we began making movies in the backyard, re-enacting scenes from our favorite movies. I realized back then that I had a true passion for telling stories on film.

I later went on to college to explore my passion for filmmaking which opened many other doors for me. I directed and produced several local and national television programs in Denver and Tampa prior to opening Wild Orchid Studios in 2008. My beautiful wife Marissa and I are thrilled to call Austin home now. I love the area and the people and I especially love being a professional wedding filmmaker with my own studio. Wild Orchid Studios allows me to combine my creativity and passion for filmmaking with the opportunity to create a truly exquisite keepsake for the treasured moments of a brides special day.

3 professional cinematographers on staff and a state of the art studio allow us to produce high definition wedding documentaries that are creative, romantic, and elegant! I make every effort to learn as much as I can about the bride and groom so I can create unique compositions that celebrate each facet of your wedding and your personalities.
